At Natural Pet Foods Company, we are committed to continuing our education, drawing from our experience and using the input of numerous sources in veterinary medicine and animal nutrition to help our customers choose from our variety of carefully selected products. We operate under a few simple core values that, when followed, make for a better world for the animals in our care:
  • To give you, our customers, the care and attention that you and your pets deserve
  • To promote only the healthiest, most appropriate diets and products to enhance the wellbeing of your pets
  • To promote pet training and behavior modification using the most effective and least fear and pain inducing techniques available
  • To stand against the sale of pets in stores and to support adoption of animals in need of new homes
  • To encourage responsible pet ownership

We are often asked why we don't carry certain brands of food of products; the answer is simple: if we wouldn't give it to, or use it on, our own pets we will not carry it in the store or recommend it to our customers. We base our selection of pet diets on the following criteria:
  • No meat by-products or generic meat or fat sources
  • No artificial preservatives
  • No added sugars or colors
  • Strong preference for unadulterated grain and vegetable sources when present.
  • Manufacturers with stringent quality control and transparency
  • Strong preference for North American, European and New Zealand sourced ingredients
  • Clear, accurate labeling
